Huntington Memorial Hall - £20,000
May 28 2009The grant will contribute to the re-roofing of the main hall, which is used by nearly 700 people each week for a range of activities.
A recent structural survey identified the need to replace the main roof of the hall by October 2009 and the Yorventure grant will contribute to this project. Failure to undertake the work could ultimately affect the long term viability of this well used community building, which sees nearly 700 people each week attending a range of activities including mums & tots, dance, fitness, guiding and breakfast groups
