Yorkshire Museum of Farming - £15,058

The project is to install a platform lift to the mezzanine floor in the Four Seasons Building, which is the main display area of the Museum. This floor is currently accessed via two wooden staircases, which create a barrier to accessing 40% of the display space for people with disabilities, older people and young families.

Ryther Village Hall - £11,193

The grant is to replace the existing roof, which is leaking and has no insulation, with an energy efficient composite cladding roof.

Embsay Cricket Club - £23,000
January 25 2011

The grant will contribute to extending and improving the existing sports pavilion. The current facilities built in 1975, when the ground was used by 2 senior sides, are no longer suitable now that 3 junior teams have been developed, the ground made available to other sports and schools and is in use much of the week for practice, coaching and matches.

Friends of Dalby Forest - £24,564

This project aims to create an ‘Enchanted Wood’ within Dalby Forest. It will be a natural play, educational and discovery area for young children to enjoy and start to understand the forest environment through a number of natural and man-made structures. It will also fill a gap in facilities for this age group and attract more local and visitor interest.
