How to Apply

Applying couldn’t be easier!

Simply find out if your project is eligible and then download and submit a completed application form.

Do you fit into an eligible category?

Your project must comply with ENTRUST category D or DA criteria. Find out more about ENTRUST categories and criteria

Is your project in the right area?

All projects must be based at a single site location. Projects involving multiple sites must apply separately for each site. The project must be within 10 miles (as the crow flies) of one of the 5 active Yorwaste landfill sites. Find out more…

Are you a not-for-profit organisation?

Your project must not operate to make a profit. All income generated by the project must solely be used for running and maintenance costs.

Is your project open to the general public?

Unless your project is a category DA project, it must be accessible to the general public at least 4 evenings or 2 days a week or 104 days in a year.

Are you applying for correct level of funding?

Yorventure has three funds. A small project fund £1,000-£5,000, a main project fund £5,000-£25,000, and a Challenge Fund. The Yorventure grant must be majority funding.

If you have answered yes to all of these questions, your project is eligible for Yorventure landfill tax credit scheme funding. Simply download and complete the forms and submit them to Yorventure’s Community Grants Officer by the appropriate deadline. View the Application Forms.
